The Ohio Science Olympiad State Tournament is the culmination of outstanding team performances from Ohio's eight regions.
Eighty teams are invited to The Ohio State University for a fun, exciting and challenging competition resulting in a chance to compete at the national level. Schedules differ depending on division and event. You can find a schedule for each division here.
The first-place teams from both divisions in each state are invited to the Science Olympiad National Tournament. However, states that fall within the top 10 registrations for either division throughout the country may be afforded the opportunity (not guaranteed) to send a second team in that division.
The 2025 Ohio Science Olympiad State Tournament Awards Ceremony will take place at the French Field House. Doors will open at 5:45 p.m. and the ceremony will begin promptly at 6:45 p.m. The first award presentation will begin at 7 p.m.

The Cap City Half Marathon will also be taking place on Saturday, April 26. Traffic and service delays are anticipated during this time.
The Ohio State University will not take custodial responsibility for minors while participating in Ohio Science Olympiad. Custodial responsibility will remain with teachers, parents, legal guardians and chaperones. Minors must be properly supervised at all times.
